He also talks about his own roles as chair of ETA\u2019s new Payment Facilitator Committee and moderator of an acquirer panel at the upcoming Payment Facilitator Day, part of ETA\u2019s TRANSACT conference. And he previews some of what PFs can expect from both.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new committee has its first meeting at the conference. McGirr sees it as an opportunity to be sure the industry is serving this burgeoning market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s critical that we have the focus on the segment, to provide the necessary resources to continue to see the growth,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>McGirr shares his thoughts on what payment facilitators can expect from the committee, and what they should do if they\u2019re interested in participating.<\/p>\n<p>McGirr also gives a preview of the Payment Facilitator Day panel he is moderating \u2013 <em>Under the Looking Glass: Sponsoring Payment Facilitators<\/em> \u2013 which features leading acquirers and processors offering their experience and insights about what the payment facilitators they work with are facing today.<\/p>\n<p>You can hear more from McGirr in this week\u2019s podcast.<\/p>\n<p>Payment Facilitator Day is May 11 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
