Technology advances have enabled faster, more streamlined experiences for many small and micromerchants.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Continuing that trend\nacross its user base, leading payments provider and payment facilitator PayPal has\nlaunched a new addition to its faster funding options. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\/stories\/us\/giving-customers-more-ways-to-instantly-access-their-money\">introduced<\/a>\nInstant Transfer to bank as an option for consumers. It expects to roll it out\nto its business customers in the coming weeks, it said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faster access to funds is becoming a priority for many\npayments providers, particularly those who cater to small businesses. In an\ninterview with PaymentFacilitator last year, Tedd Huff of GlobalOnePay described\nfaster merchant funding as an area where he expects PFs to \u201cpush the envelope,\u201d\nas part of their focus on improving the payments experience for their submerchant\ncustomers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ability to access funds from sales quickly can help\nbusinesses better manage their finances. In its announcement, PayPal pointed to\na shifting workplace culture with an increase in entrepreneurship that can lead\nto more variable incomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor businesses, getting faster access to money from their\nsales can mean they can afford to hire more employees, purchase inventory,\nquickly invest back into their businesses and better manage their cashflow,\u201d\nPayPal COO Bill Ready said in a blog post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instant Transfer to bank is just\nthe latest in PayPal\u2019s funding options. It has offered an Instant Transfer to\ndebit card feature for consumers and businesses since 2017. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And last fall, PayPal introduced\nFunds Now, which provided immediate access to funds for certain business\ncustomers. The Funds Now option is now available to more than 3.5 million\nbusinesses in eight countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith Funds Now, we aspire to set\na new expectation in payments &#8211; that immediate access to funds should be the\nnorm rather than the exception for small businesses in good standing,\u201d Ready\nsaid in the post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAfter seeing impressive adoption\nwith both of these offerings, we wanted to continue rolling out additional\nsolutions that make it faster for people and businesses to get access to their\nmoney.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PayPal is offering the new Instant Transfer to bank\ncapability through its partnership with J.P.
