But in reviewing the self-perpetuating avalanche of accolades, found a few interesting tidbits with that Monday dateline<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>New stats from eMarketer<\/strong>: In 2015, mobile payments will total $8.71 billion in the US, with users spending an average of nearly $376 annually using their mobile phone as a payment method. By 2016, total mobile payment transactions will reach $27.05 billion, with users spending an average of $721.47 annually. Total mobile payment sales will rise faster than average spending per user in 2016 because of the growth in the number of overall users of the technology.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mozido<\/strong> confirmed a gateway platform that is optimized for trade between the U.S. and China. Less significantly, the company also announced the availability of it HCE product.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sequent Software<\/strong> argued that it&#8217;s Token Service Platform offering is the first &#8220;to support all types of cards including credit, debit, prepaid and access control credentials.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Giact<\/strong> introduced gMobile, a package that leverages data-sharing from carriers Sprint, AT&amp;T, Verizon and T-Mobile to authenticate mobile devices with a ping-back, trying to verify that the phone isn&#8217;t jailbroken. &#8220;Verizon has been very reluctant to do this&#8221; and this is supposedly the first time that T-Mobile has cooperated, according to Giact CTO Merlin Bise.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Clearing House<\/strong> has entered into a realtime-payment letter of intent with UK payment systems vendor VocaLink.<\/li>\n<li><strong>CheckAlt LoanPay, CareCredit <\/strong>and <strong>Ingo Money<\/strong> used the Las Vegas show to roll out new versions of their mobile apps.
