{"id":3725,"date":"2017-09-14T12:28:14","date_gmt":"2017-09-14T12:28:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paymentfacilitator.com\/?p=3725"},"modified":"2021-06-15T22:21:49","modified_gmt":"2021-06-15T22:21:49","slug":"shopify-betting-on-qr-codes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infinicept.com\/payment-facilitator\/archive\/shopify-betting-on-qr-codes\/","title":{"rendered":"Shopify Betting on QR Codes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Leading payment facilitator and e-commerce provider Shopify is betting that QR codes are coming back in a big way, to connect offline and online shopping more easily. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The company this week launched a new app, called Shopcodes, which will allow its sellers to generate unique, trackable QR codes for use in their marketing materials.<\/p>\n<p>Shopify sellers can download the Shopcodes app for free from Shopify\u2019s App Store, the company said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shopify.com\/blog\/shopcodes-announcement\">blog post<\/a>. The app enables them to link the code to a page of their choice \u2013 a product page or the shopping cart. They can also add discounts to the codes.<\/p>\n<p>Once the seller has created the code, they can download a graphic file for use on signage, product packaging or other materials.
