{"id":4213,"date":"2018-09-05T19:32:23","date_gmt":"2018-09-05T19:32:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paymentfacilitator.com\/?p=4213"},"modified":"2021-06-15T19:57:20","modified_gmt":"2021-06-15T19:57:20","slug":"eta-introduces-program-acknowledging-pfs-others-for-use-of-risk-management-best-practices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infinicept.com\/payment-facilitator\/archive\/eta-introduces-program-acknowledging-pfs-others-for-use-of-risk-management-best-practices\/","title":{"rendered":"ETA Introduces Program Acknowledging PFs, Others for Use of Risk Management Best Practices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Payment facilitators who follow industry risk management best practices can now be recognized for their efforts, using a new program from the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This week, ETA \u2013 a nonprofit trade organization for the payments industry \u2013 introduced its new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.electran.org\/industry-affairs\/srp-eta-self-regulation-program\/\">Self-Regulation Program (SRP),<\/a> intended to acknowledge industry players who are developing and following appropriate risk management policies.<\/p>\n<p>ETA based its program on two documents: ETA\u2019s <em>Risk Guidelines for Merchant and ISO Underwriting<\/em> and <em>Risk Guidelines for Payment Facilitators<\/em>. Consultants Rich Consulting and Double Diamond Group oversaw ETA working groups\u2019 creation of the guidelines, which follow network rules, government regulations and other industry best practices.<\/p>\n<p>The SRP has multiple components for different roles within the industry.
