{"id":4684,"date":"2019-08-28T20:08:39","date_gmt":"2019-08-28T20:08:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paymentfacilitator.com\/?p=4684"},"modified":"2022-04-15T11:27:45","modified_gmt":"2022-04-15T17:27:45","slug":"mindbody-eyes-global-expansion-with-india-acquisition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/infinicept.com\/payment-facilitator\/archive\/mindbody-eyes-global-expansion-with-india-acquisition\/","title":{"rendered":"MINDBODY Eyes Global Expansion with India Acquisition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>California-based technology platform MINDBODY is expanding its global team with its latest acquisition.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The company, which provides software and payments services for the boutique health, fitness and beauty industries, announced last week that it&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/company.mindbodyonline.com\/press\/mindbody-acquires-software-consulting-firm-simplicity-first\">plans to acquire<\/a>   Simplicity First, a software company based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to its web site, Simplicity First offers software consulting services, including development, QA and project management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs part of the acquisition, we are looking to hire the best engineering talent in India,\u201d Sunil Rajasekar, chief technology officer at MINDBODY, said in the release. \u201cIndia has amazing tech talent and we are excited to expand our R&amp;D footprint there. MINDBODY is a global company and having R&amp;D resources in region will help us serve our customers better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the acquisition will add about 50 employees to MINDBODY\u2019s workforce, the company plans to actively recruit more, including engineers and management personnel. It also plans to open a new office in Pune this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investment firm Vista Equity Partners completed its&nbsp;acquisition of MINDBODY   in February. The company has spoken openly about its plans to grow with the help of resources from its new owner, including in an interview with a&nbsp;local newspaper   in San Luis Obispo, where MINDBODY is headquartered.
